Looking to up your snack game? Want something sweet and salty for your next movie night? I think I have the perfect solution. This salted honey popcorn recipe is so easy to make you won’t believe how delicious it is! 

Before covid, I used to get together with friends to do things like watch award shows or other big televised events. And this popcorn is one of the perfect additions to one of these types of nights. Of course, it is also good on its own, but there is really something so easy and fun about a popcorn bar at a movie night!

So the next time you sit down to binge your new favorite show, or maybe the next time it is safe to have an award show viewing party, make this popcorn, I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Salted Honey Popcorn

Easy popcorn recipe to spice up your afternoon or movie night snack! The perfect combination of salty and sweet to satisfy all popcorn lovers.

Equipment

  • Small Saucepan

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup unpopped popcorn
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • sea salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Pop the popcorn however you like. I have an air popper that is great, I will link a few options below of poppers I recommend. There is also always the option to pop it on the stove!
  • Once the popcorn is popped, place it in a large bowl.
  • Separately, in a small saucepan, melt the butter on low heat.
  • Once melted, add the honey to the saucepan and stir until well incorporated.
  • Turn off heat.
  • Add a few dashes of sea salt to the butter honey mixture.
  • Pour the salted honey butter over the popcorn and toss to fully coat. Taste and add more salt if needed.
