Bombdotcom Brownies

The best brownie recipe out there. These brownies are fudgy and cakey with the most perfect crackly top.

Equipment

  • 8x8 Baking Dish
  • Medium Saucepan
  • Mixing Bowl

Ingredients
  

  • 8 tbsp Unsalted Butter (1 stick)
  • 2 oz Unsweetened Chocolate
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 2 large Eggs beaten
  • ½ tsp Vanilla Extract
  • ½ cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chunks optional but highly recommended
  • ¼ cup All-Purpose Flour
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • Extra Sea Salt for Sprinkling optional
  • Sprinkles for Sprinkling optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 325°F degrees.
  • Prep your 8x8 square pan either by spraying with cooking spray and dusting super lightly with cocoa powder OR lining your pan with parchment paper.
  • In a medium saucepan, melt butter and chocolate together over low heat, stirring frequently with a wooden spoon to making sure not to boil or burn.
  • Remove saucepan from heat and add sugar, stirring until combined.
  • Next add eggs and vanilla, again, stirring until combined.
  • Add chocolate chips, flour, and salt. Stir until well blended.
  • Pour batter into the pan, making sure to distribute evenly and tapping the pan a bit to get out any air bubble. Sprinkle with sea salt and sprinkles (both are optional). Place pan in the oven.
  • Bake for 35-45 minutes, insert a toothpick into the middle to test if brownies are done, if the toothpick comes out clean, they are ready!
  • Remove from oven and let cool.
  • After about 15 minutes of cooling time, they are ready to be cut and served!
