Preheat the oven to 350F.
Prep an 8x8 baking dish with cooking spray.
In a medium bowl mash the bananas up really well.
Add in both types of sugar, applesauce, water, and vinegar. Mix until combined.
Next, stir in flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt. Make sure not to over mix!
Fold in half of the chocolate chunks.
Pour batter into prepared dish and sprinkle the remaining chocolate chunks on top.
Bake for about 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the middle of the cake comes out clean.
Let the cake cool completely - this might take 10-20 minutes - but it is worth it, I swear!
Slice it up and serve! Or maybe just eat right out of the dish, this is a judgment-free zone.
