  • Large Mixing Bowl

Ingredients

  • 2 Bananas very ripe
  • ½ cup Granulated Sugar
  • ¼ cup Brown Sugar
  • ½ cup Applesauce unsweetened
  • cup Water
  • 1 tsp White Vinegar
  • cups All-Purpose Flour

  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chunks

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350F.
  • Prep an 8x8 baking dish with cooking spray.
  • In a medium bowl mash the bananas up really well.
  • Add in both types of sugar, applesauce, water, and vinegar. Mix until combined.
  • Next, stir in flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt. Make sure not to over mix!
  • Fold in half of the chocolate chunks.
  • Pour batter into prepared dish and sprinkle the remaining chocolate chunks on top.
  • Bake for about 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the middle of the cake comes out clean.
  • Let the cake cool completely - this might take 10-20 minutes - but it is worth it, I swear!
  • Slice it up and serve! Or maybe just eat right out of the dish, this is a judgment-free zone.
